Camden County commissioners approve agenda, minutes and two financial payouts

The Camden County Commission took several routine votes during its April 7 session.
Commissioner James Gohagan moved to approve the meeting agenda; Presiding Commissioner Ike Skelton seconded and both voted aye. Gohagan also moved to approve the April 6, 2026 prior meeting minutes; Skelton seconded and both voted aye.
The commission approved a surplus funds request in the amount of $22,231.68 after review by county legal counsel and the treasurer; Commissioner Gohagan moved the approval and Commissioner Skelton seconded. Commissioners then approved a second refund/payout request from the Missouri Department of Revenue (marijuana tax payout) for $22,729.92 after the treasurer presented the request; Commissioner Skelton moved to approve and Commissioner Gohagan seconded. In each recorded vote the two present commissioners voted aye; Second District Commissioner Steve Dougan was absent.
With no further official business, the commission voted to adjourn at 10:45 a.m.
