Board hears rising student lunch debt — officials consider collections and targeted assistance

Mrs Hobbs (business manager) confirmed the district sends letters with outstanding balances and includes free/reduced applications with those notices. The board asked administration to prepare a plan with options — including the feasibility of sending top balances to collections — for review at the next meeting.
