A Sheriff's Department employee responded during the meeting that the department itself does not maintain a local audit trail of key fob or card use and must contact the security vendor, Elliott Data, to obtain those records. Commissioners discussed ideas to address the Prosecuting Attorney’s staffing and safety concerns but made no motion to change access controls or to re-key the office during the session.
