They described campus coding used for scheduling (ones/twos for north campus, sixes/sevens for south campus) and said some low-enrollment sections cannot be combined across campuses for curricular or logistical reasons.
Board members asked about balancing sections (for example, three sections of French IV ACP averaging 17 students) and how the district manages dual-credit courses and audition-based music placements. Administrators said they try to even section sizes and use summer scheduling work to make adjustments before finalization.
The capstone and under-18 items will return at the March 16 meeting for second reading and any action required under school code and staffing timelines.
