Pack reports strong Q1 attendance and revenue growth; previews Kicking It festival lineup

The Federal Way Performing Arts & Event Center (the Pack) reported higher attendance and revenue in the first quarter of 2026 and previewed summer programming and the Kicking It Federal Way festival.
General Manager Stacia Winters told the committee the Pack hosted about 13,700 attendees in Q1 (roughly 3,000 more than the same period in 2025), sold 7,000 theater tickets, and recorded approximately $530,000 in year-to-date revenue, with event operating income of about $103,000. Highlights included a free concert from the U.S. Army Jazz Ambassadors attended by more than 500 people, four arts-for-youth workshops tied to visiting artists, and an expanding banquet/wedding business.
Winters also previewed the festival programming for Kicking It Federal Way — music headliners and community activations on the civic plaza — and noted naming-rights discussions are active but not finalized. Council members praised the increase in youth workshops and asked staff to coordinate distribution of event maps and social-media outreach for festival attendees.
What’s next: upcoming Pack events include Arts Explosion (May 29–31), local ballet performances, and Kicking It Federal Way; naming-rights negotiations continue and the Pack will continue to report booking and revenue progress to the council.
