The SAU41 governing board reorganized its leadership at the start of the meeting, electing Amy Kelner as chair for the 2026–2027 term and selecting Johanna as vice chair following a weighted vote of member districts. Rob was reappointed treasurer and Jessica reappointed secretary.
The meeting opened with nominations. A board member nominated Amy Kelner for chair, and the board held a vote that yielded a positive result. Following the tally and congratulations, Kelner said, “Thank you very much.” The vice‑chair contest involved self‑nominations and a weighted roll‑call by district; board members confirmed Johanna as vice chair after the weighted result was reported.
The board then nominated and reappointed Rob as treasurer and Jessica as secretary for the coming year. Board members referenced prior budget outcomes and asked nominees to continue attention to fiscal oversight.
During the same portion of the agenda the board accepted, with thanks, the written resignation of Linda Sherwood from the position of director of business operations; Sherwood’s letter says her last working day will be June 3, 2026. The board moved to accept the resignation and recorded the vote in open session.
The newly elected leadership will preside over the SAU as it finalizes personnel transitions and continues work on the strategic plan and budget‑related items in the coming months.
