Eastern Commissioner Jamey Cope moved to lift the burn ban "effectively immediately," and Presiding Commissioner Bryan Hall seconded the motion. All three commissioners present — Cope, Hall and Western Commissioner Rick Lett — voted in favor and the motion carried.
Clerk Jessica Cole recorded the action in the minutes. The commission directed the Emergency Management Director to publish a countywide notice announcing the ban’s end and any related guidance for residents.
