City Manager staff told the council May 6 that the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has notified the city it will receive a $2,000,000 grant agreement to fund the Rosemary Drive stormwater drainage and pedestrian safety project.
The manager said staff received the HUD letter and that the city will move forward with funding agreements; the announcement followed an update that four local projects remain in legislative appropriations review at the state level.
No additional grant conditions or a detailed implementation schedule were discussed on the record; staff said they would execute the HUD funding agreements and follow standard project procedures.
