Separately, the board reviewed a boilerplate PSBA (Pennsylvania School Boards Association) fair-funding resolution and directed administration to prepare a customized version with district-specific numbers and language. The board indicated it would place that customized resolution on the next meeting agenda for a vote and saw the resolution as consistent with its stated goal to develop advocacy capabilities.
Next steps: administration will return a customized PSBA resolution and the board will solicit public comments before a planned June vote; minor wording edits to the goals will be circulated to the board and placed on a future agenda.
