The Madison Public Schools Board of Education completed routine business items in a short meeting, approving the consent agenda, several policy updates, a PTO donation and prior meeting minutes.
The board approved the consent agenda by voice vote (the chair announced the motion carried, seven to nothing). It then approved revisions to several policies after waiving a second reading; policy numbers referenced included 6010 (mission), 6163.32 (service animals) and 5120.3.6 (animals in school), among others. A board member noted most changes were legislative or minor.
The board also approved a donation of $2,000 from the Pollson PTO to Pulson Middle School for the Grade 8 Holiday Hill field trip and approved the minutes of the April 28, 2026 meeting. With no new agenda items requested, the chair called for adjournment at approximately 6:23 p.m.
All routine items were approved by voice vote as recorded in the meeting.
