Committee signals unanimous support for Senate amendment to Act 588 expanding pharmacies' role in HIV medication

Representative Nent confirmed that the result was "a verbal" confirmation of the poll.

Committee members described the process as a straw poll rather than a formal vote; the chair said the measure may be up for action on the House floor later the same day. The committee did not record a formal roll-call vote during this meeting; the thumbs poll was nonbinding and advisory to the panel and sponsors as the bill moves through floor consideration.
