Facilities and operations contracts: The board discussed a custodial staffing need and a proposed contract with Diversified (formerly 3B) to provide three staff at roughly the budgeted rates; the presenter described the contract structure and included a six‑month review clause. Board members supported bringing a year contract to the next agenda for a final vote.
Band trailer and fundraising: The district confirmed it will purchase the band trailer. Members asked staff to clarify sponsorship levels and what sponsors receive (size/duration of decals, wrap costs and how net proceeds will be remitted to the booster organization). Staff said they will meet with booster representatives and provide clearer solicitation language so businesses know precisely what they get for each donation level.
Other business: Staff said the current term life insurance renewal exceeded budget due to a prior claim and that they solicited quotes and will change administrators to keep the plan design and cost within budget; copier lease changes were presented to redistribute heavy‑use machines and modestly increase copy allowances to avoid overage fees.
No formal votes were recorded on these items at this meeting; staff will return to the board with refined contract language, detailed sponsorship packages for the band trailer and final vendor recommendations.
