"He said we're gonna treat it as a commercial addition instead," Carlisle said.
Planning staff said they could approve the permit with contingencies and that Lane would confirm building-department requirements; a motion to approve with those restrictions was made and seconded, and the chair announced the motion carries. Staff and applicant agreed the applicant will provide the revised drawings and the building inspector will be consulted to confirm commercial standards.
Next steps: Applicant to supply updated drawings and staff to coordinate with the building inspector on required commercial upgrades before permits are finalized.
