Fulton County opens North Fulton Health & Human Services building in Alpharetta to centralize services

County leaders and speakers marked the ribbon cutting of the new North Fulton Health & Human Services building at 4700 Northpointe in Alpharetta, describing the facility as a centralized site for senior services, behavioral health, public health, vital records and other programs serving North Fulton residents. Speakers emphasized that the facility increases local access so residents no longer have to travel to Sandy Springs or downtown for these services.

One speaker said the county purchased the building in 2019 for about $11,000,000 and suggested the facility's current valuation is near $50,000,000, framing the acquisition as a long‑term saving for taxpayers. County representatives said they are hiring staff and expect to meet staffing goals by mid‑May to begin expanded operations; they encouraged residents to visit the new building for services and upcoming community health events.
