The Jurupa Unified School District board publicly announced multiple personnel actions that were approved in closed session.
Trustee Denise Hernandez read the closed‑session results, saying the board voted 5–0 to reassign employee number 281414 to a classroom effective July 1, 2026, and to appoint Nicholas Blake as director of human resources for the 2026–27 school year. Hernandez also announced the appointment of Kevin Corden as director of funding and program accountability.
Hernandez listed several principal and assistant principal appointments for the 2026–27 school year, including Alicia Heimer as principal of Nueva Vista High School, Angelina Aguilera as principal of Mission Middle School, Linda Del Toro as principal of Mission Bell Elementary, and others. The board also appointed Philip Ramirez as interim assistant principal at Jurupa Valley High School for the remainder of 2025–26 and as assistant principal for the 2026–27 school year, and Samantha Flores as assistant principal at Jurupa Valley High School for 2026–27.
Many of the announcements were prefaced by Hernandez and noted as approved by a unanimous vote in closed session. Board members offered congratulations to the appointees and said the administration will follow up with procedural details where required.
