North Harrison board approves donations, youth baseball and routine business in unanimous votes

All recorded votes during the meeting were unanimous (5-0) unless otherwise noted.
The board accepted a $2,000 donation from Alpha Mechanical to support the district's AG/Tower Mechanization Pathway program. A company representative who addressed the board said the donation was intended "to use for trade school," and board members thanked the donor and praised the district's career-technical programs.
The board also approved motions to allow North Harrison youth baseball and youth softball organizations to operate and deferred approval of the youth football league pending receipt of required paperwork.
Other items passed by the board included first readings of two policy volumes and approvals of listed resignations, retirements and appointments.
