Dundy County commissioners approve interlocal agreements, CRA settlement and local appointments

At various meetings the board approved an interlocal agreement with the city of Benkelman to operate a Construction & Demolition site for county and city residents, amended an interlocal law-enforcement agreement with the Sheriff and city, and approved cooperative extension services with the Board of Regents of the University of Nebraska. Commissioners also recorded unanimous approval of a settlement agreement with the CRA and later ratified the Benkelman CRA Settlement Agreement.
Personnel and appointments included accepting the resignation of Veteran Service Officer Wayne Mahon and approving Mike Rosenfelt as the county Veteran Service Officer. The board approved a contract for the county public defender and later approved a professional appraisal services contract with Pritchard and Abbott for $6,590 over two years.
