Perth Amboy council adopts consent agenda including insertion‑valve contract and mural permit

As read into the record, the consent block (R185526–R205526) included an emergency temporary appropriation of $2,087,426 for calendar year 2026 and multiple Urban Enterprise Zone allocations for Independence Day fireworks (up to $300,000 plus an additional $100,000 administrative allocation). The council also approved awarding the base bid and authorizing a contract with J. Fletcher Creamer & Son Inc. for an insertion valve at the Runyon Water Treatment Plant in an amount not to exceed $78,555; a second bidder, Killy Civil, submitted a higher bid of $89,675.
