The Roseville Joint Union High School District board voted Aug. 27 to ratify a 2024–25 settlement with the California School Employees Association (CSEA).
Staff described the agreement as the final step in a multi-year bargaining process and recommended ratification. Joe, a district staff presenter, told trustees the settlement includes a 1% salary increase and other contractual adjustments. "Staff recommends that the board approve and ratify this agreement," he said.
A motion to ratify the agreement was moved and seconded; the board signaled approval by voice and the motion passed unanimously with one member absent. No public comment was offered on the item.
The board’s ratification completes the district’s bargaining cycle with this unit for the 2024–25 fiscal year; staff indicated the district had taken multiple direction steps during negotiations prior to tonight’s ratification. The board did not provide additional detail on implementation timelines at the meeting.
