Staff told councilmembers that the packet’s reference to a March 2026 public information meeting (PIM) will be updated and that, once the task order is approved, staff will work with SRF to schedule the first PIM. Staff clarified the study limits: Park Street west to Parmenter.
Councilmembers asked whether the second public information meeting would be scheduled for August as the packet suggested; staff described a two‑phase process in which the consultant gathers initial public feedback, develops recommendations and hosts a second meeting to deliver findings and finalize resident feedback before returning recommendations to public works.
The council approved the task order by voice vote; staff said scheduling and outreach would follow contract execution.
