Staff also described youth non-school-day camps, teen programs, and senior-center offerings including a Medicare-rights workshop on Dec. 9.
Staff reported recent participation numbers (about 250 families at a movie night, nearly 250 participants for a family fun ride and 44 participants in fall softball) and said volunteers have supported garden and tree-planting events. The department reminded residents that while fields are closed to organized play, parks remain open for informal family use.
