"Ignite is part of Dickson Electric System," Mr. Reagan said, describing the arrangement as an interlocal agreement under which the county would pay for services as it does with other vendors. Ms. Malone was credited with obtaining grant funding that would cover part of the equipment upgrades.
Commissioner MacEwen made the motion to approve the interlocal agreement; Commissioner Brett seconded, and the motion carried by voice vote. The motion authorizes county staff to finalize an interlocal agreement with Ignite and to proceed with migrating eligible services and equipment funded by the grants.
