Commissioners hear Community Choice Energy briefing, discuss stricter committee attendance

Bridal also relayed a council discussion about a proposed policy to require committee members to attend at least 75% of meetings with removal by council for chronic nonattendance. Commissioners discussed the idea of adding expectations that committee members come prepared and read materials in advance. No formal action was taken at the Planning Commission meeting; commissioners noted the item may return for further policy consideration at the council level.
The commission approved two sets of minutes (April 14 and April 28), with a small correction to the April 28 entry clarifying a vice‑chair title.
Commission staff noted an upcoming interview at the Town Council meeting and invited commissioners to a planning commission training with dinner.
