Cusseta–Chattahoochee County renews $2,508 contract with New Horizons for mental-health services

The Unified Government of Cusseta–Chattahoochee County voted July 2 to renew its FY2025 agreement with New Horizons Behavioral Health for $2,508.
The written agreement in the meeting packet (dated June 21, 2024) specifies that New Horizons will provide Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services, Adult Mental Health Services, and comprehensive drug- and alcohol-abuse services to county residents. The contract amount is $2,508 for the 12-month period beginning July 1, 2024, payable in monthly installments of $209.
Commissioner Jason Frost moved to renew the agreement; the motion passed unanimously. The letter and agreement packet were signed by Andrea B. Winston, chief executive officer of New Horizons, and included an invoice for FY2024 closeout and instructions for returning the signed agreement to New Horizons' business office.
County staff will process the renewal and forward the executed agreement to New Horizons. The funding supports behavioral-health access for residents through services delivered at New Horizons' Columbus facility or local satellite sites as described in the agreement.
