Superintendent and Clarksville High presenters highlight graduates, college credits and student activities

Dr. Goldman summarized extracurricular highlights: Key Club and Builders Club participation (about 21 Key Club and 5 Builders Club members), National Art Society inducted 15 new members, and a simulated drunk-driving crash demonstration involved students and prompted reflective discussions led by Officer Bartley. She also described an on-site field trip reward for students who met college-ready SAT benchmarks and WIDA growth metrics; about 50 students went to Topgolf.
Board members asked logistical questions about graduation and the D Lobby bathrooms for the ceremony; Dr. Goldman confirmed the bathrooms will be open and reported 77 seniors plus four juniors graduating early. The board congratulated students of the month and performers in the community; a CEA representative offered congratulatory remarks to teachers and students.
