Staff says UDO consultants are reviewing draft articles; public workshop with Planning Commission planned

Director Brooks told commissioners that consultants are in town to help staff review comments on the Unified Development Ordinance and draft articles for the new UDO. "We are currently making adjustments, to district articles 4 through 7, again based on that feedback that we've received," Brooks said, and noted staff will share materials later this summer and schedule an in-person Planning Commission workshop when a date is available.
Brooks said the goal is a full draft this fall with additional public sessions to follow. The update focused on scope and scheduling rather than specific code language changes; staff did not present a final text or public hearing schedule at this meeting.
