District staff preview early‑childhood playground dedication, summer programs and Pack improvements

Community partners listed to support the event include the Painesville Legion, the bus company, the local fire department and several local businesses providing vehicles for attendees to explore.
Staff also previewed summer offerings — 49 different camps and enrichment opportunities — and noted staff training dates and other logistics. At the Pack, staff said they are planning to replace old TVs in common areas and make small renovations to the cardio and fitness spaces; those changes will require paint touch-up and minor carpentry work after equipment removal.
