Pequannock school board approves routine consent packages in unanimous votes

The Pequannock Township School District Board of Education voted unanimously to carry three sets of consent and action items during its May 11 workshop meeting.
Board member Joseph Sarisi moved to approve the PMC consent items (PMC‑184‑26 through PMC‑202‑26); the motion was seconded and, after a roll call by Business Administrator Gibbs, the members present voted in the affirmative and the motion carried. Miss Esposito moved CIS‑96‑26, which also passed on a roll call. Mister Bloomer moved the FFA package (FFA‑186‑26 through FFA‑190‑26); that motion likewise carried after a roll call vote.
Business Administrator Gibbs read the roll and recorded the votes. The board recorded one absence for the meeting. The motions covered routine personnel and program items that were listed on the published agenda.
After the votes, the board moved into the workshop portion of the evening, where members heard a series of reports on staffing, communications tools and district projects. Board President Stanek announced that the board would enter an executive session to discuss personnel matters and that no action would be taken when it convened in private.
The meeting notice and agenda had been posted in accordance with the Open Public Meeting Act, Business Administrator Gibbs said at the start of the meeting.
