Hillsdale TIFA review committee moves to refine development plan, assigns next steps

Members signaled general approval of the draft as a starting point and agreed to a specific change in terminology: the committee will rename the document’s “Goals” section to “Priority Projects” (referenced in the draft as page 10) to clarify that the section lists projects the TIFA intends to prioritize rather than abstract goals.
As a next step, the committee assigned Luke Robson to combine the versions circulated by Robson and Sumnar and prepare a second working draft for review at a future meeting. Committee chair actions also included shifting the agenda for the next meeting: Andrew Gelzer will lead work on a Rules of Procedure document that the committee asked to include guidance on attendance, a Code of Conduct, and how subcommittees should carry forward the Development Plan’s priorities.
Olivia Smith, identified in the minutes as Zoning Administrator, was recorded as present. The committee adjourned at 8:36 AM. The minutes note that the review committee’s next meeting will be scheduled following the full TIFA Board meeting on March 17, 2026, at 7:30 AM.
