Board hears first reading of cardiac emergency response plan under new state bills

He said a committee developed the plan and that it outlines training and AED placement requirements.
The presentation was offered as a first reading; no board vote occurred at the meeting. Board members had an opportunity for initial questions; none were recorded as requesting changes during the first reading. The plan will return to the board for further consideration in a subsequent meeting.
