Council approves CTN agreements to broadcast St. Paul Saints games and rent production truck

The Coon Rapids City Council on April 21 approved agreements enabling CTN to provide production services for St. Paul Saints broadcasts and to rent its HDI production truck to Long-Haul Productions.
Councilmember Sean Novack praised the agreement with the Saints as a revenue-generating programming partnership, and Councilmember Brad Greskowiak said the arrangement supports CTN’s production equipment, facilities and staff. The council voted unanimously to approve the St. Paul Saints production services agreement.
Councilmember Novack also asked how liability is handled for equipment rentals. CTN Station Manager Strouse said rental contracts require clients to carry supplemental insurance, which serves as the primary coverage in the event of damage, accidents or other equipment-related issues. The council similarly approved the Long-Haul Productions rental agreements for the HDI production truck.
Both actions were recorded as approved unanimously. Staff will execute the agreements and CTN will proceed with scheduled production and rental activities under the contract terms.
