Sean said the complaint was recently filed and that the tenants were already experiencing retaliation and might move out before July 1 if the matter is not heard sooner. “We have noticed until, July 1… there's a lot of unknowns,” he said. The board agreed that an earlier special session would give staff adequate time to collect materials and allow the parties an earlier forum to present testimony.
The motion to schedule the May 13 special meeting passed unanimously; staff will notify interested parties and post the agenda and materials by May 6.
