North Little Rock council approves series of routine resolutions and nuisance declarations

The North Little Rock City Council approved a package of routine actions during its meeting, including records disposition, a development agreement, several nuisance condemnations and a cleanup lien.

The council adopted a resolution approving the destruction of certain city records as presented on the consent agenda. A development and maintenance agreement with River Rock Estates LLC (resolution R26131) was adopted after staff and a developer representative confirmed that highlighted areas in the exhibit will be built to city standards while private tracks and an associated open area will be maintained by the developer or an improvement district.

The council also read and adopted a series of nuisance and condemnation resolutions for properties at 904 Healy Street (R26132), 403 Mill Street (R26133), 521 West 15th Street (R26134), and 322 West 14th Street (R26135); public hearings were called or adjourned when no speakers appeared. A resolution certifying a cleanup lien to be filed with the Pulaski County tax collector for 120 North Buckeye Street (R26136) was likewise approved.

Council adopted an ordinance (O2633) waiving sidewalk requirements for property at 130 West Military Drive on emergency first reading after members noted the business's long-standing presence in the Amboy community and confirmed the private entity will maintain the construction and maintenance responsibilities.

Members thanked city staff, the city attorney and planning/parks staff for their work on the agreements and compliance language. No contested public comments were recorded on these items.
