The Nashville Village Council approved the proposed 2026–27 fiscal year budget at its Feb. 12, 2026 regular meeting.
Council member Lori Courtney moved to approve the budget; the motion, seconded by Sherry Hummel, passed on a roll call vote. Council members Rick Argo, Bonnie White, Ben Page, Sherry Hummel, Lori Courtney and President Mike Kenyon voted in favor; Johnny Hartwell was absent.
President Mike Kenyon opened a public hearing on the proposed 2026–27 budget at 7:26 p.m. No members of the public spoke; Council member Bonnie White moved to close the hearing at 7:27 p.m., a motion the council approved.
The council also set a special meeting for Feb. 26, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., to consider an amended 2025–26 budget. Council member Lori Courtney made the motion to schedule the special meeting, which was supported by Bonnie White and approved unanimously among members present.
