Bandera County commissioners approve appointment, service contracts and budget transfers

Commissioner Robert Harris moved to nominate Daneil R. Butts to fill a vacant position on the Bandera Central Appraisal District Board of Directors for the 2026–2027 term under Texas Property Tax Code Sec. 6.03(1); Commissioner Jack U. Moseley seconded the motion and it passed on a 4–0 vote with Commissioner Jordan Rutherford listed as absent. The record spells the nominee’s given name as "Daneil R. Butts" (as recorded in the minutes).
The court approved agreements with Republic Services to provide dumpster service at three county locations: the Road and Bridge Department, the Sheriff's Office and the Annex at 1212 Hackberry St. Commissioner Robert Harris made the motion, Commissioner Troy Konvicka seconded, and the action passed 4–0 (Rutherford absent).
Commissioner Harris also moved to accept revisions to the Bandera County Policy on County Property, Vehicles and Equipment; Commissioner Moseley seconded and the policy changes were approved by the same 4–0 tally.
