Bandera County accepts FY2025 audit, approves budget transfers and amendments

Bandera County Commissioners accepted the county audit for the fiscal year ended Sept. 30, 2025, and approved several budget adjustments during their April 9 meeting.
Hayley Blocker of Neffendorf and Blocker, PC presented the county audit. Commissioner Robert Harris moved to accept the audit report for the fiscal year ended Sept. 30, 2025; Commissioner Jack U. Moseley seconded and the motion passed unanimously (4-0).
The court also approved budget line-item transfers and budget amendments after motions by Commissioner Harris, both approved 4-0. The consent agenda — which included county officials' and departments' reports, payment of bills, a schedule of countywide receipts, semi-monthly payroll, approval of minutes, and deputations — was approved on a single motion by Commissioner Moseley, seconded by Commissioner Konvicka, and approved 4-0.
Each action in the recorded minutes was approved by a 4-0 tally with Commissioner Jordan Rutherford marked absent. The minutes do not record dollar amounts or substantive exceptions in the audit presentation; the audit and budget actions were accepted as presented and the County Judge was authorized to sign items as needed.
