McDonald County authorizes engineering firm to file BRO applications for four roads

Jason Sivils of Great River Engineering met with the commission to outline BRO project opportunities and identified Rains Road, Woodchuck Road, Fry Road and Hagee Road as qualifying projects. Presiding Commissioner Bryan Hall moved to authorize Great River Engineering to complete the BRO applications on behalf of the county; Eastern Commissioner Jamey Cope seconded the motion and it "passed by majority vote," according to the minutes. The minutes do not record a roll-call tally.
The minutes also record that County Clerk Kimberly Bell and commissioners Hall and Cope were present and that Western Commissioner Rick Lett was absent. The meeting adjourned and the commission is scheduled to reconvene Oct. 30, 2024. The minutes were approved Oct. 30, 2024 (Book PP pg. 494).
