The commission asked staff to continue documenting damage and to investigate potential funding routes.
Road Foreman Mullins and commissioners reviewed previous Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) projects to assess whether similar work could be assigned as future county projects to address the flood impacts. Mullins and the commissioners evaluated past project types as possible templates for repairs and maintenance work.
Health Director Hall reported a technical failure in the Health Department’s air-conditioning unit and later noted related problems at the county annex. County staff called Lands Heating and Air to inspect the malfunctioning units and diagnose needed repairs.
Commissioners also reviewed resident calls and performed inspections of reported damage on Canning Factory, Miser, Gordon Hollow, Rains and Ponderosa roads following the flooding. The commission recorded these inspections as part of its damage assessment work to support repair planning and any reimbursement requests.
The meeting was recorded as adjourned, with the commission scheduled to reconvene on May 19, 2025. The minutes show routine administrative business and follow-up tasks related to flood recovery and facility maintenance.
