Lipscomb also described youth programming (a Rising Stars musical-theater program for ages 5–8) and board recruitment of members with theater and arts-management experience. He framed TheatreWorks as a regional producing theater and asked council support for continued local cultural development.
The council received the update during the public-comment portion of the meeting; no formal council action was required.
