The New Milford Town Council on April 27 took routine administrative actions: it appointed Sanford Ivler to the Library Board of Trustees, approved budget transfers, and updated the town's Fund Balance Policy.
The council appointed Sanford Ivler to the Library Board of Trustees with a term through Jan. 31, 2028; Paul Murphy moved to approve the appointment, Rolando Castro seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Attorney Randy DiBella administered the oath to Mr. Ivler at 7:49 p.m.
On finance items the council approved transferring $86,000 into Public Works winter overtime from three Public Works accounts ($36,710 from Winter Materials and Supplies; $30,000 from Crack Sealing; $19,290 from Highway Maintenance). The council also approved transferring $9,400 from Finance Personnel to Personnel Payroll. Paul Murphy and Rolando Castro were recorded as movers on the respective motions; minutes record unanimous approval. The council also approved an update to the Fund Balance Policy.
The meeting adjourned at 8:31 p.m.; minutes were recorded by recording secretary Stylen R Bahd.
