The court did not take formal action on the policy but directed staff to continue closing the area while they develop a draft liability form to present to an individual identified in the minutes as "David T." for review.
An agenda item proposing a formal policy on City of Falfurrias access to the Brooks County landfill was tabled by unanimous vote. The minutes record that the discussion was for information and potential next steps; no ordinance, contract or binding directive was approved at the meeting.
The court asked staff to return with a proposed liability form and additional recommendations to address safety and dumping concerns.
