Scott, the district's bond/construction representative, reported project-by-project progress and invited questions from trustees.
"This last week, we had the wastewater treatment plant handed over to us, and that is now functioning," Scott said, reporting immediate operational status at Ballard Middle School. He said furniture delivery and final punch-list work are under way and landscaping and irrigation have been installed.
At Victory Elementary, Scott said the team is completing the final punch list and commissioning mechanical systems. For Elementary School No. 10, he reported steady progress in steel and masonry despite rain, with the gym and cafeteria areas under active work. At High School No. 2, he described ongoing slab pours and site work including driveways and parking; the transportation facility is beginning exterior metal panel installation, with site work continuing.
Scott closed by inviting trustees to ask questions; no budget transfers or formal approvals were requested during the update. Trustees were later reminded of upcoming ribbon-cutting and graduation dates related to bond projects in the district calendar.
