The resolution states proceeds would be used exclusively to fund operation and maintenance of county 911 emergency telephone and dispatch services.
The motion to submit the question to voters passed with a 6-1 roll-call vote; Commissioner Matthew Shepard cast the lone dissent. The resolution directs the County Clerk to certify the question and prepare ballot materials as required by law.
