Board approves bills, student trips and routine personnel items
Summary

The board handled a set of routine consent and action items. Crystal (business office) corrected an AVM invoice amount on the bills list and the board approved the corrected bills. The board also approved a student senior trip to Lagoon (same-day trip) after a presentation by senior-class president N. Coral; an ASB team leadership-conference trip to Orlando funded by donations; use of district uniforms and protective equipment for summer camps under the district’s insurance; and four early-graduation applications recommended by counselors.
Administrators noted that detailed invoice and purchase-order backup can be reviewed in the business office upon request, and the board discussed internal deadlines for bill review to allow trustees time to inspect records prior to meetings. Several motions were approved by voice vote during the meeting.
What’s next: Administration will continue to provide bill backup on request and follow up on any trustee questions about detailed charges.
