Liberty Elementary construction progressing; T Highway lane reductions planned during spring break

Harrison also described traffic impacts tied to T Highway improvements adjacent to the Liberty campus: grading work is underway, and the district and contractor plan to reduce traffic to a single lane the week of spring break (March 16–22) to minimize school traffic conflicts. Intermittent single-lane daytime closures will continue March 23–April 3 with both lanes reopening for evening travel; access from Oakridge Drive to T Highway will be closed during this window with alternate access via Long Drive. Harrison said crews will avoid peak travel times when possible.
The administration building renovation is proceeding in phases. Harrison outlined a phased completion schedule: phase one (conference/training space) targeted for July 2026, phase two for November 2026 and phase three/substantial completion for May 2027; he said the project remains on budget though some phasing adjustments were needed.
