CCRPC committee forwards seven nominees for energy subcommittee to board

The Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission’s Joint Executive and Finance Committee voted March 1 to forward a slate of seven nominees to the CCRPC board for appointment to the Long-Range Planning Committee’s energy subcommittee.
Charlie Baker explained the subcommittee will guide updates to the energy elements of the ECOS Plan. Because the committee received 10 volunteers for seven slots, staff and members recommended a shortlist of seven candidates. The recommended nominees and township affiliations are: Jeff Forward (Richmond), Keith Epstein (South Burlington), Jim Donovan (Charlotte), Dan Perkins (Essex), Henry Bonges (Milton), Dwight Decoster (Underhill), and Kevin Thorley (Williston).
Mike O’Brien moved and Chris Shaw seconded a motion to bring the list of nominees to the CCRPC board for appointment; the motion carried unanimously. The board will consider formal appointment at its upcoming meeting.
