The motion was seconded by the Clerk (Speaker 5).
The Chair (Speaker 2) summarized why the ratification was needed, saying the devices are available at roughly $256 each in the current deal compared with market rates "in the $300-and-change to $400" range, and that the board wanted to "clean this up" after the prior meeting where no votes were officially recorded.
