Lease renewal: Members endorsed referring a proposed lease renewal with Bristol Hospital for the Bellevue property to city council. Staff said the mayor recommended renewing the lease without increasing rent, citing the hospital as a reliable tenant.
Event permit: The committee approved a request to use the adjacent lot at 150 Central (across from O'Brien funeral home) as staging for the Memorial Day parade, conditioned on receipt of insurance and any required permits.
Land referrals and tabling: The planning commission forwarded a positive referral on a set of combined lots related to West/Peacedale Cemetery; the committee voted to send the matter to the mayor’s office for negotiation. The committee also added Lot 15 on Amber Road to new business and referred Map 16, Lot 15 to the planning division for 8‑24 review. A list of possible encroaching property owners (including 139 Treble Road) and a separate matter involving 93 Tahoe Road (pending Board of Education scheduling) were tabled for future consideration.
