Aside from the major hearings on the Hoppers proposals and the Clark Avenue rezoning, the Bristol Zoning Commission took several routine but consequential actions at its Feb. 9 meeting.
The commission moved site‑plan Application 2556 (Worcester Court Realty LLC / Recycle X) from new business to consideration and approved an expansion of loading docks at 95 Worcester Court with stipulations. The approval requires plan revisions to reflect the last revision date (corrected to Dec. 30, 2025), resolution of remaining staff comments before plan sign‑off, and standard completion/inspection signoffs. The applicant’s civil engineer, Chuck Chan, told commissioners the project would not expand net impervious area and would improve on‑site truck circulation.
The commission also accepted the 2025 annual report for special permit Application 2507-2025, filed by Willow Materials LLC for ongoing earth‑removal and processing operations. Kyle Schultz, the applicant’s representative, reported 34,000 cubic yards removed since the 2024 renewal and estimated roughly five to six years of remaining operations; the commission voted to forward the report to city engineering for review.
Procedurally, the commission scheduled or continued several public hearings: scheduling and roll‑call votes were recorded for newly filed applications (2554, 2555) and multiple pending hearings (2547/2548 and 2549) were continued to March 9, 2026.
