On second reading the council adopted Ordinance 2026-03, an amendment to section 9-503 of the village land development code addressing nonconforming lots. Steve introduced the ordinance and said the changes were requested by the village attorney to clarify enforcement of nonconforming-lot language. Rob (staff/legal) was available to answer questions and none were raised by council or the public. Because this was the second reading, approval put the ordinance into effect immediately.
The council approved the ordinance on a unanimous roll call.
